The remote surveillance team

James Leventhal

Managing Director

James’s responsibility is to over-see the day-to-day operations of the business, developing the strategic plans for Remote Surveillance Ltd, as well as dividing his time performing both Managing Director and Finance Director roles.

Having spent 10 years in the Security Sector, and in understanding some of the issues faced within certain areas of the industry, James developed Remote Surveillance to create a range of bespoke site security solutions that addressed these problems within the SME marketplace.

The business, and it’s range of CCTV products and services has since grown and now encompasses Security and Project Planning within the Transmission Market, working alongside one of the UK’s largest Corporations in terms of delivering security to complex assets and infrastructure in safety and mission-critical environments.

As a company, Remote Surveillance strives to provide a fresh approach to delivery of projects, seeking to push known boundaries by utilising new technologies available, and are never afraid to re-define the wheel so to speak. Yes, the current system works well. But could it be even better?

Marc Bass

Sales Director

Having spent most of his early years in the South West of England, Marc left the area in the late 90’s for a long weekend in London. Only to return some 14 years later!

His time in London saw him study at Middlesex University, before entering the security industry in 2005 as one of the founding members of Angel Business Services (London), an Archive / Data Storage Facility in North London. Working alongside London Councils and Legal Professions alike, confidential data was transported across the capital safely, and securely.

Since relocating back to the West Country in 2008, Marc was responsible for Business Development across the South West for ‘Sitex-Orbis’, providing security measures to Social Housing, Vacant Property and Commercial Sectors.

A chance meeting with the Directors of Remote Surveillance in 2015 opened his eyes to a raft of new technologies available. Inspired by this, and with the clear vision to deliver ‘tomorrow’s technology today’, joined the team without hesitation.

Some 2 years on, Marc oversees the Construction Division with Remote Surveillance now securing sites for some of the biggest names in the sector.

In spare time enjoys time with the family, surfing, and travel.
